Steve Shulman

Steve is a highly respective healthcare industry executive with over 45 years of experience leading and acquiring healthcare business. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of CareCentrix and Element3 Health, co-Chairman of HealthMap Solutions, Lead Director of VillageMD and Director of Pager.

Steve previously served as an Operating Partner at Water Street Healthcare Partners from 2008 until March 2015 and Tower Three Partners from 2008 until December 2013. Prior to that, Steve served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Magellan Health Services from 2002 to 2008, where he spearheaded its turnaround and restructuring following bankruptcy. He also previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Internet Healthcare Group and as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Healthcare, where he led a major turnaround that culminated in the company’s successful sale to Aetna. Prior to Prudential Healthcare, Steve served in senior executive positions at Value Health, a specialty managed care company he founded and took public, including as a Director and as President of the Pharmacy and Disease Management Group. He also previously held senior executive positions at Cigna, including as President of the East Central Division, and Kaiser Permanente, an integrated managed care company, including as Director of Medical Economics.

Steve received his BS and MS from Stony Brook University and attended the Advanced Management Program at Stanford University.
